Offline Air-gapped Deployment

OpenIaC provides fully open-source, modular packager scripts for true 100% offline environments.

How it works

1. Packager Stage: Run the packager/build_offline_tarball.sh script on a bastion machine with internet access (must match the target baremetal OS). It automatically downloads and bundles all RPMs, binaries, and container images into a single tarball.
2. Transfer Stage: Move the generated tarball via secure media (USB, secure file transfer) into the air-gapped environment.
3. Deploy Stage: Extract the tarball in the packager/ directory on your bootstrap node and run the standard Ansible deployment playbooks. The playbooks will automatically detect the offline artifacts and skip external downloads.
